Personal Assistance
Our professional and experienced team of support professionals will assist you with your personal care needs with the utmost respect for your privacy and dignity.
Our personal care support includes bathing and showering, personal hygiene and grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility support. We can also assist you with getting in and out of bed, continence management and assisting with using continence aids and appliances.
We can provide special support for an upcoming event or assist you once or twice a week or daily. It’s all up to you.
This support can be provided in a variety of settings, so if you are visiting family or friends, or away from home for education or school.
Shopping and Home Cooked Meals
We help with shopping and home cooked meals that cater to any special diets you may have for health, religious, cultural, or other reasons.
Domestic Support
If you require assistance with tasks around the house that you may not be able to carry out or would like support for, you can rely on Bright Hope Care. This could include anything from putting on a load of laundry or folding clothes, making your bed, or sweeping your path.
Our capable team can provide you short term assistance or ongoing support. If there’s something we can’t do, we can refer you to someone who can. Give us a call and we will work together to get you the support you need.
Gardening and Lawn Mowing
We help with veggie gardens, weeding, lawn maintenance, going shopping for plants as well as watering plants on in the balcony, backyard, or verandah.
Community Participation
Being able to be out and about is a big part of life, and our team can support you in taking part in activities and events that matter to you. We offer a range of services to support you with transport, to help you attend work or volunteer commitments, social outings, family gatherings, recreational activities, places of worship, community events, medical appointments, shopping and more. We can provide support for a few hours or on regular basis. It’s up to you.
Transport
When it gets to getting out and about, our experienced team can offer a range of transportation and mobility options to help you get to and from your destination safely and comfortably.
Post Hospital Support
For any in-home support you may require after you’ve been ill or in hospital, our well experienced team can support you and your family to ensure you recover fully. This may include specialist clinical care by a registered nurse, assistance with administering medication, wound care, personal care, shopping, and meal preparation. Give us a call about preparing a care plan for your specific needs.
Hobbies
We can support to carry out activities like arts and craft, scrap booking, knitting, card games, board games and listening to music.
Respite for Carers
At times when your carer or family member may be unable to provide you with support, our experienced team can step in to provide you support. We can provide respite care on an as needed basis, and in any situation, that is, whether your usual carer is at home with you or not. We can also assist you to attend a social event, take you shopping, prepare meals with you or complete tasks around the home. Just let us know what you need, and we will work out how best to support you.
Community / In-home Nursing
Our registered and enrolled nurses can work with your doctor and other allied health professionals, to assist you to stay on top of medical issues in the comfort of your home. Our nurses can assist with medication management, wound care, monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate, or providing specialist assistance if you’ve recently been ill or hospitalized. Simple call us to discuss your needs with our expert team, and we will work with you and your treatment team – your doctor and other health professionals, to create a plan.
Overnight Support
Our team can provide support if you need someone to stay with you in your home for a single night or on a longer basis or need help and support around the clock.
Our support can be scheduled ahead of time or as the need arises. We can provide personal are services to help you stay comfortable, assist you with getting in and out of bed, or repositioning and turning you through the night.
We can also provide medication and pain management, ensure you stay well hydrated and nourished, and assist with your temperature regulation.
Technology Assistance
We can assist with emails, online banking, and shopping, modelling how to use tablets, smartphones and computers, and the use of social media platforms. Ensuring you’re connected with family, friends, and the rest of the world.
Group Centre Activities
We can assist you to engage in a range of social experiences and activities including sports, arts and craft, music, and special activities such as trivia, discos, and day trips. We can also assist you to develop new skills with classes in cooking, money handling and job courses. These group activities provide opportunities for you to engage with other people socially, and a long-day respite service for carers.
Early Childhood Supports
We are happy to work with your child to enable them to reach their full potential. Through the Early Childhood Intervention (ECEI), supports can be put in place and tailored to your child’s needs and circumstances. We will work with you and your family to improve your child’s independence and participation in everyday activities.
Companionship
Whether it is playing cards or boardgames or going out to the shops or grab a meal or attending places of worship or doctor’s appointments or attending social functions. We can assist you. Simply give us a call and let us know how we can assist, and for how long.
